Ambient temperature: -25°C-+40°C.
Relative humidity of air: The daily average is not more than 90% and the monthly average is not more than 90%.
Altitude: no more than 2500m.
Installation at sites free from severe vibrations and shocks, and non-corrosive gases.
Structural characteristics
The enclosure is available in vertical and horizontal configurations. It uses 2mm high-quality stainless-steel sheet formed by multiple bends, or a stainless-steel double-sandwich honeycomb composite panel offering flame retardancy, environmental compatibility, thermal insulation and condensation resistance. A special welding process gives high overall strength and a smooth, mirror-like surface without visible weld marks. Internal mounting beams or plates are hot-dip galvanized to resist corrosion for twenty years. Front and rear doors facilitate operation and servicing. Each door has resilient, aging-resistant seals and both exposed and concealed locks; the exposed lock has a rain cover to resist blockage and corrosion. The metering compartment is fully enclosed and fitted with a lead-sealing device. Side cable-entry conduits prevent rain and foreign-object ingress; ventilation and cable-exit holes are provided at the bottom, with ventilation passages and wire mesh at the top. The enclosure resists water, rust, dust and foreign objects, with protection rating IP54.
