Product description
Scope of application
GGD low-voltage fixed switchgear is used in distribution systems at power plants, substations and industrial or mining facilities, operating at AC 50Hz, rated voltage 380V and rated current up to 6300A. It converts, distributes and controls electrical power for power, lighting and distribution equipment. It offers high breaking capacity, rated short-time withstand current up to 50kA, flexible circuit arrangements, convenient combinations, practicality and a modern structure. It is a representative assembled, fixed-panel switchgear product in China.
This product meets standards such as GB7251.12-2013 " Low Pressure Switch Set and Control Equipment " and IEC60349 " Low Pressure Switch Set and Control Equipment " .
Normal service conditions
Ambient temperature: -50°C to +40°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +36°C.
Altitude: no more than 2500m.
Relative humidity: not more than 50% at surrounding air temperature +40°C.
Higher relative humidity at lower temperatures (e.g. 90% at +20°C), taking into account that temperature changes allow for moderate condensation
The gradient with the vertical side at the time the device is installed shall not exceed 5°.
The equipment should be installed at sites free from severe vibration, shock and corrosion.
Note: If the above conditions cannot be met, the user may consult with the company if it has special requirements.
Model and its meaning

Main technical parameters

2 Auxiliary circuit programme
Auxiliary circuits are designed in two parts: the power supply programme and the power plant programme.
3 Main busbars
Single copper busbars are used for rated currents up to 1500A, and double copper busbars for currents above 1500A. All busbar joint surfaces are tin-plated.
3.1 Selection of horizontal busbars

3.2 Selection of neutral/earthing busbars

a. GGD cabinets mainly use domestically mass-produced electrical components, such as DW17, D220 and DW15. Frame-type circuit breakers may include DW45, CW1, AE, M and F; molded-case circuit breakers may include D2253, TM30 and NS, or other advanced domestic and imported components.
b. HD13BX and HS13BX rotary operating blade switches are specialized components designed to meet the needs of the unique structure of the SWGGD cabinet. They change the way the institution operates, preserve the advantages of older products and are a practical and new type of electrical element.
c. When new and technologically advanced electrical components are selected by the design department on the basis of user needs, manufacturing and installation difficulties are generally not caused by upgrading electrical components because of the good installation flexibility of the GGD cabinets.
d. To improve electrodynamic withstand, GGD busbars use ZMJ modular busbar clamps and insulating supports. The clamps are thermoplastically formed from high-strength, flame-retardant PPO composite material, with high dielectric strength and good self-extinguishing performance. Adjustable modular spacers allow single- or double-busbar clamp arrangements. The insulating supports use a molded sleeve structure with low cost and high strength, addressing the insufficient creepage distance of earlier products.
Structural characteristics
1 The cabinets of the GGD exchange low-voltage distribution switch sets are in the form of general-purpose cabinets, the framework is assembled in type C materials, and the framework parts and specialized spare parts are supplied by the company to ensure their accuracy and quality. The spare parts of the general-purpose cabinet are designed in accordance with the modular principle and have a 20-module installation hole with a high general-purpose factor. Preproduction of plants can be achieved. The production cycle has been shortened and the work efficiency improved.
2 GGD cabinets are designed with due regard to the dissipation problem in the operation of the cabinet. At both ends of the cabinet, there are different quantities of disheat holes, and when electrical elements inside the cabinet heat, the heat rises and is discharged through the upper trough, while the cold wind is constantly supplemented by the lower troughs into the cabinet so that the sealed cabinet forms a natural vent from the bottom up for the purpose of spreading heat.
3 GGD cabinets are designed to provide a fair view of the whole cabinet, using the gold partitioning method, in accordance with modern industrial product design requirements.
4 The cabinet doors are linked, installed and easily disassembled with re-axis activity chains. There is a mountain-shaped rubber bar on the side of the door, and there is some compression between the door and the frame at the close of the door, which prevents the door from collisioning directly with the cabinet and raises the level of protection of the door.
5. Instrument doors carrying electrical components are bonded to the frame with flexible stranded conductors. Mounting parts are connected to the frame using serrated washers, forming a complete protective earthing system for the cabinet.
6 Container surfaces are treated with high voltage electrostatic powder. Strong and good. The whole cabinet was sub-lighted to avoid dizziness and created a more comfortable visual environment for duty staff.
7 The locks of the cabinet can be removed if needed to facilitate the assembly and adaptation of the main main line at the site, and the four corners of the cabinet are equipped with rings for lifting and shipment.
8. Cabinet protection rating: IP30. Users may also select within the IP20-P30 range according to the installation environment.
